A day before the wedding day.

I am so grateful and honour to be chosen as an official photographer of Celeste & Adam’s Wedding in Cambodia. Fate brought us! They booked me for 3 days wedding.

That was my first time visiting Cambodia. It was quite a long flight, I flew from Melbourne, transited in Bangkok then changed into a smaller plane to Siem Reap in Cambodia.

I arrived there a day before their wedding day around 9AM. After checked in the hotel and had a lunch, I still had a few hours free time before the sunset to explore this beautiful place.

I decided to visit some famous temples: Angkor Thom, then Ta Prohm temple (Tomb Raider movie) and sunset at Angkor Wat.

It took around 30 minutes by car from the city. It was hot and humid, 37C. I suggest if you want to visit these places, it’s better going early in the morning or late afternoon and bring lot’s of drinking water.

The wedding day – Getting ready.

The next day, the wedding day, another fun full day. I started documenting their preparation before the wedding ceremony. Lucky, the bride and the groom stayed at the same hotel and it was close to where I stayed.

The boys went out to the wedding ceremony location, followed by the girls. The ceremony was at a beautiful villa located just outside the city.

For the wedding reception, they booked a temple for their wedding reception. How cool is this! There were some performances by local artists, such as acrobatic, traditional dancer, the fireman show, etc.

From the temple, everyone was back to the city and went straight to the Sokkhak River Lounge. It was fun and crazy. It was party time!
